Mr Roman C Luth has more than thirty years of experience in the field of logistics in Asia Pacific.
He started his career in Asia in the chemical warehouse operation in 1991 and in 1996 he co-founded an Asian Chemical Logistics company concentrating on regional distribution of hazardous chemicals for MNCs.
He joined a MNC logistics company and headed the Asia Pacific Dangerous Goods, Health & Safety and Security Organisation from 2002 to 2015. During this employment he achieved the first ISO28000 certification for a regional corporate organization.
He then joined another MNC logistics company in 2015 and holds the position of Chief Compliance Officer responsible for the APAC region. In addition to this activity he founded a company focusing on Compliance in 2017 and achieved in 2018 the certification under ISO22301 (BCMS) and ISO37001 (ABMS).
Mr Luth is an IMDG and IATA DG trainer, a Lead Auditor for Quality Management Systems, Security and Health & Safety Management Systems. He is also the Technical Expert Auditor for Cyanide Transportation under the ICMC as well as a Certified Business Continuity Professional. He also achieved Autorised Auditor accreditation under TAPA FSR, TAPA TSR and TAPA GSR.
For several years he was a member of the SCIC Logistics and Distribution sub-committee and also held the position of chairman for this committee. Other engagements included the activity as a member of the Working Group for supply-chain-security under Spring Singapore, the Singapore Standardization Body.
